Okay, let's be honest here. The countdown actually began the day we found out I was pregnant. But, now we have an exact date to count down to. My doctor is starting me May 6th! YAY! Only 33 days to go.
I had a doctors appointment last Wednesday. We did another Biophysical Profile. Eli flew through it this time! What a good boy. I did ask more questions this time. The reason my doctor is doing this test is because with Leiden Factor V, the risk of blood clots in the Placenta greatly increases at the end of pregnancy; even with taking heparin shots. My doctors words were "Leiden Factor V gets NASTY at the end!" My doctor is having me come in every week now to do the test and to check for blood clots. Pray REALLY hard that I don't get a blood clot because we would need to do an emergency C-Section. As much as I want Eli here, I don't want him coming under those circumstances. That would be scary.
Eli is still measuring 3 weeks ahead. My doctor is thinking he will weigh around 8 1/2 pounds. Yikes!
I'm really excited, but I'm getting nervous about having another baby around the house. Blaine is my little sweetheart. I know I will love Eli just as much as I love Blaine, I just don't want my relationship with Blaine to change. He is my little cuddle bug! He is such a mommas boy and I love that. Hopefully if I just make sure to take extra time with Blainer he will still know I love him and that he is my special guy.

Blaine will do great! Each kid is different, but he will be so excited to have a baby around that he won't care about anything else. I don't know how you guys feel about boys playing with dolls, but I gave Annie a baby doll the day Coop came home, so that she had someone to take care of when I was taking care of the baby.
Wow...it seems like this has just flown right by...maybe not for you though. Im sure baby Eli will do great and will be here soon and be healthy. Blaine will be the best big brother!
After we got Maddie me and Bry would go on little outings when Ty came home from work. It was fun time with just the two of us. It worked great! I'm so excited for you guys!!
Hey Jenny, it's Chelsi from Bowmans. I have Factor V too! I didn't know you had it. I only have it on one chromozone (?) so I didn't have to do the shots. I am excited that you are almost done. You better bring him in so we can see him!!!
