I Love Coming Home From Work...

...And Holding My Babies!

Little Chunker!

Eli had his 2 month doctor visit this week. He weighs 16 lbs 2 oz! He was off the charts in both his weight and height. Eli is so big they didn't even give him a percentile. They just said he is greater than 95%. What a chunk! I was looking through the baby calendar I made for Blaine and he didn't weigh that much until he was 6 months old!

Catch Up!

Sorry I haven't posted lately. Things are crazy. You would think that after 2 months I would have some sort of routine down, but I don't! Two kids has TOTALLY thrown me off. I can't get on top of the laundry and I feel like I'm just winging everything. I have a to do list on my phone that just keeps getting longer with nothing getting crossed off. (I'm sure those of you with 3 and 4 kids are thinking "You think 2 is tough, you just wait.") My sister Summer, who I affectionately think of as "Super-mom", says she just has no expectations for each day then anything she gets done is a bonus. Maybe I need to try that because it's making me crazy having things I want to get done and then having a week go by before I get to them.
I have quite a few pictures to post of things we have been doing. I hope you don't mind all the pictures. I will just give a little summary of what we've been doing.

Blaine's New Pool:

We bought a wading pool for Blaine's birthday. These are pictures of the first time he used it. It was a lot of fun. But, once he decided he was done, he started stripping. Funny guy!

Renting Our House:

We decided to rent out our house and move in with my parents while Tyson is going to school. It was hard for me because I LOVE our house and our ward and I really miss it. I felt so bad because we prayed and prayed that it would work out. So, Heavenly Father worked it all out and then I cried so much about having to leave our house, our ward and my young women. But we are so grateful that my parents are letting us invade their "empty nest" with our crazy little family.
Our renter is great! We have no concerns about having her living in our house. We know she will take good care of it. However, the stress of being a landlord started one week after we moved out, and we have been dealing with it ever since. The Saturday after we moved out, our renter called and said that the paint on the ceiling in the kitchen was bubbling and there was water all over the floor. Tyson and my dad went to the house and found that a pipe had broken. Luckily they were able to fix it themselves, but then we had a HUGE hole in our ceiling. It took over 2 weeks to get someone to come fix the hole and now we are still waiting for it to get painted. Here's a few pics of the lovely ceiling.

The Zoo With My Girls:

We went to the zoo with my girls and their kids. Between the 5 of us moms there were 10 kids, 5 of which are 2 or younger! Yikes. It was really hot and we were there for 4 hours. But, so much fun! We missed you Holli! Hope you can come next time!
South Ogden City:

We went to the South Ogden City concert and fireworks. Josh Grayson was the one who performed at the concert. It was a lot of fun. Blaine was hilarious dancing to the music. He was shaking his little booty and everyone around us was watching him and laughing so hard. He is a character! I love it!

Camping In The Backyard:

One night we decided we wanted to go camping. So we set our tent up in the back yard. It was a lot of fun. We even had a camp fire with S'mores. The boys did great. My parents were making bets on what time we would come in during the night, but both boys slept through the night.

The 4th:

We had a lot of fun on the 4th of July. We went to the Swenson's in the morning to have a BBQ and go swimming. I didn't swim, I just sat and enjoyed holding Eli. (I feel like I don't get to do that nearly as much as I want to.) After that we went back to my parent's house. I made pizza and we had S'mores and watched fireworks. Happy 4th!

Eli's Blessing:

We had Eli blessed on July 5th. Blaine was 7 months old when we finally got to bless him, so his blessing outfit was too big for Eli. So, we bought a new one for Eli. It is super cute! We both loved it as soon as we saw it. Eli's blessing went pretty well. We had to interrupt Eli's bottle to bless him so he was kind of fussy. But he sure looked cute!! Thanks to everyone who helped with the blessing and food after!
Discovery Gateway:
Last Tuesday we went to Discovery Gateway with our friends Katie and Brandon and their ADORABLE baby Camden. It was so cute! We've never been there before. Blaine loved it. There was so much to play with. It was kind of expensive but worth it! After we went to the California Pizza Kitchen. YUM! I had the Pear Gorgonzola pizza. I know it sounds weird but it's fabulous. Blaine was pretty grumpy the whole time because he was really tired. He feel asleep pretty quickly on the way home. Thanks for coming with us Katie and Brandon and thanks for being patient with our crazy boys! Ü

New Pictures

We got some pictures taken yesterday. Sorry they are so small, I couldn't get the bigger ones to upload. They turned out pretty cute. When I look at the family picture I can't help but think how old Blaine looks. Where did my baby boy go?
