So Helpful

My little Blainer is hilarious! The other day I was laying on the floor in his room. He was playing and I was just watching him. Blaine came over and laid down next to me. He looked up my nose. This is the conversation that followed.

Blaine "Booger."
Me "Do I have a booger?"
Blaine "Two."
Me "I have two boogers?"
Blaine "I get it!"

By the way, I looked and I didn't have a booger. I think he just likes to say booger. He always tells me the kitty has a booger. What a silly guy!

Happy Easter!

We had a fun Easter this year because Blaine, for the most part, understood what was going on.
He had fun hunting for eggs although he didn't want to put them in the basket; he wanted to hold them! Blaine had a cute Easter outfit he wore to church but we changed him first thing after church because he tends to ruin clothes the first day he wears them. We meant to get a picture but we forgot. Oops!

Check out my belly! It's huge!

BBB Update #2

We moved Blaine's toys into his room on Monday, and he has done awesome! We haven't had one problem. He still takes his naps and goes straight to sleep at night. What a good boy! I'm so proud of him.
One thing that has changed with Blaine sleeping in his new bed is that he has learned how to open doors. So, the last few mornings he has woken up at 6:30 in the morning and come walking in our room. The other morning I didn't hear him open his door, but all of the sudden there was this adorable little face peering over the bed at me. What a great way to start the morning! Even though it was a little early. Sometimes we can get him to lay down in our bed with us, but usually he is ready to go for the day. What a sweetheart! I sure love that little guy!

The Countdown Begins!

Okay, let's be honest here. The countdown actually began the day we found out I was pregnant. But, now we have an exact date to count down to. My doctor is starting me May 6th! YAY! Only 33 days to go.
I had a doctors appointment last Wednesday. We did another Biophysical Profile. Eli flew through it this time! What a good boy. I did ask more questions this time. The reason my doctor is doing this test is because with Leiden Factor V, the risk of blood clots in the Placenta greatly increases at the end of pregnancy; even with taking heparin shots. My doctors words were "Leiden Factor V gets NASTY at the end!" My doctor is having me come in every week now to do the test and to check for blood clots. Pray REALLY hard that I don't get a blood clot because we would need to do an emergency C-Section. As much as I want Eli here, I don't want him coming under those circumstances. That would be scary.
Eli is still measuring 3 weeks ahead. My doctor is thinking he will weigh around 8 1/2 pounds. Yikes!
I'm really excited, but I'm getting nervous about having another baby around the house. Blaine is my little sweetheart. I know I will love Eli just as much as I love Blaine, I just don't want my relationship with Blaine to change. He is my little cuddle bug! He is such a mommas boy and I love that. Hopefully if I just make sure to take extra time with Blainer he will still know I love him and that he is my special guy.
